At the library we have a huge range of books, e-books and journal articles to support your learning. You can use Library Search to locate the items you need. If you can't find what you need in our libraries, you can request it, whether you are student or staff.
Staff and students can borrow up to 20 items.
Borrowing using the library self-service machines is easy, all you need is your university ID card. Watch our video to learn how to borrow.
âš You can't borrow journals, PhD theses and items marked as Reference Only; these are just for reading in the library.
Great news- your loans will renew automatically!
They will stop renewing automatically if:
They have been reserved by someone else
The item is already overdue
Your account is blocked because you have a very overdue item issued to you
Your fine has reached £20
They have been renewed 99 times
So make sure you always check your London Met email address for notifications about your loans
You can also check your loans and renew yourself when you login to your account via Library Search.
You can return our items the following ways:
Self-service returns: Select the 'Return' option on the self-service machines at either library and follow the on-screen instructions. If there are any issues returning items then please go to the Library Information Desk during staffed hours.
