Getting Started with Zotero

You can bring your own laptop to this session. 

Learn how Zotero can simplify your referencing! In this hands-on session, you will:

  • Understand what Zotero is and why it’s useful for managing references
  • Install Zotero and the browser connector on your own device
  • Save, organise, and check references from websites, databases, and more
  • Insert in-text citations and generate reference lists
  • Apply the correct referencing style (CTR Harvard, APA, etc.)

 The workshop will take place in the Library Training Room (LCG-26) on the ground floor of Holloway Road Library.

How to use Gen AI and why should I care?

Here’s an opportunity to sharpen your AI literacy skills. Work on real-life examples of AI-generated content, critically assess AI outputs and navigate ethical considerations. We'll also cover how to properly acknowledge and reference AI in your academic work.

This hands-on workshop will take place in the Library Training Room (LCG-26) on the ground floor of Holloway Road Library.  Prior to attending the workshop listen to a recording of  "What is AI?" on our AI guide.
