Saving your work (OneDrive)

OneDrive is your personal storage area.   It's great for saving your university work for these reasons:A cartoon of a person working on a laptop, there is a cloud with icons of files and images around it

  • Access your work from anywhere: because it is online you can access anything you save there from any device with internet connection.
  • Keep your work safe: if something happens to your laptop you know that you work will be safe and secure in your OneDrive.
  • Easily share documents with others and edit at the same time: need to do a group work presentation? Just save it in your OneDrive, share with others and everyone can access and edit the same presentation- even at the same time!
  • Loads of storage space: never worry about running out of space for your many assignments....

To access your OneDrive:

  • Go to the Microsoft 365 portal and log in with your username@my.londonmet.ac.uk and your usual password
  • Click on the app launcher- the nine dot square in the top left (also known as the waffle!)
  • Select OneDrive
  • Select My Files from the left hand menu to see your saved work.  Click the Add new button to upload files or start a new Microsoft document.
