    Founded in 1964. Members include manufacturers of herbal medicines, herbal practitioners, academics, pharmacists, retailers and students of phytotherapy. It aims to promote high standards of quality and safety in herbal medicines, encourage research and wider knowledge, liaise with regulatory authorities, industry forums and the media, provide advice and comment on new EU or UK legislation and guidelines.
